Northampton’s Save Paradise City group met with Mayor Gina-Louise Sciarra to urge consideration of serious concerns about the city planning process on the Picture Main Street project. The group will next meet with the MA Department of Transportation on flaws in public participation, disability rights and pedestrian and bicyclist safety concerns, threats to downtown business survival, opaque indirect and direct additional costs to the city and years of loss in recurring revenue impact on city funding of essential services.
